Leaked: Xiaomi Mi 6 to sport Snapdragon 835 SoC


There have been a lot of rumours and speculations surrounding the Xiaomi Mi 6 smartphone. The latest information now suggests that the device is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 835 SoC and will officially be launched on April 16, 2017.
According to a report published by , an undisclosed source has revealed that Xiaomi's next flagship will be released next month with the date likely to be April 16. The source also says that Mi 6 will still be the first domestic smartphone sporting the Snapdragon 835 chipset.
The report further revealed that the smartphone is expected to sport a 5.2-inch LCD display with 2.5D glass and a ceramic variant.
The camera, according to the tipster sourced in the report, will be similar to that of Sony Xperia XZ Premium. The Xperia XZ smartphone comes with a 19MP rear camera with Sony's new Motion Eye camera system.
Previous leaks have suggested that the Xiaomi Mi 6 will come with 4GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, Qualcomm's Quick Charge 4.0 technology and a 4000mAh battery.
The expected price of the device is roughly Rs 25,000
